From the Factory Floor to the Manager’s Role!

Managerial role
This isn’t about the most prestigious position or highest salary. It’s about finding those stories that illustrate what can come from working hard, working smart and always learning.

Every day millions and millions of people all over the world punch in and out of factories, plants, warehouses, and worksites to perform general labour, industrial labour, manufacturing, production, transportation and all kinds of other activities that make our world go round.

Some of these people don’t just see a job. They see a path. A path to bigger and better opportunities. Some see it immediately. Others realize it over time.

Through determination, focus and hard work, these people compete and climb their way up the ladder to greater roles and responsibilities. They may become crew chiefs, foremen, supervisors, managers, VPs — or maybe they end up owning the place — but what they all have in common is they started out on the ground floor.

To inspire the next generation of workers (skilled and unskilled alike), we want to celebrate some of this generation’s workers-turned-leaders. But we need some help!

If you know someone (or are someone… no need to be humble!) who fits the bill, let us know and hopefully we can share their story, or yours.

This isn’t about the most prestigious position or highest salary. It’s about finding those stories that illustrate what can come from working hard, working smart and always learning. It’s not a competition. We hope it’ll become an ongoing collection.

Submissions should include names of individuals, their company, contact info, a photo and a short (or long) paragraph about their career growth. We’ll follow up with interested candidates. Please send any submissions to info@essentialhiring.com (Subject Line: From the Factory Floor)

We look forward to sharing some great stories!
